another redundant rear hatch question, HELP

another redundant rear hatch question, HELP

Ive checked on previous posts and couldnt find an aswer. Last night my hatch wouldnt go down, checked the little switch on the latch wouldnt work, Then today, like magic the latch was down. I opened the trunk and it lifted the hatch. Now when I closed it it wont go down again, WHY? Why would it close hours after, and assist it up now,and not close a minute later?What can i do to fix this??guides are fine, not cracked or anything... HEEEEEELP ME!! Thank You

Thanks for the help every one , but I found my problem, the fuse was blown under by the fuse block, I replaced it and it went down, The question is why did it go down over night, and why did it assist it on the way up with no power??? I guess Ill never know, just its workin again...
