5 point harness dilema???

I need some options and I'd like to hear a few ideas from you people out there. I have two 5 point harnesses that I want to install in my 89 Formula. I have taken the back seats out of the car as they are never used. I have plans for that area but first I want to get the harnesses in there. I have no roll cage so I can't mount them that way and I've read that it isn't a good idea to run the shoulder straps to the floor as it'll compress your spine in the event of an accident.

What are some other ideas you people many have? I'd like to hear them. Thanks in advance...

first things first...check and see if 5 points are legal on the street where you live B4 YOU PUT THEM IN!!! here in ontario canada you cant have 5 point on the street..but you can have 4(makes no sense more seatbelts=better safety..no?)..my buddy has them with racing seats in his stang..all he did was bolted them to the place where his old seats left holes and badda bing badda boom it was done..

but check about the 5 point thing for sure!!
