Correct way to adjust t-tops?

It seems like when I adjust my t-tops to stop wind noise it makes the weatherstripping useless because water gets in. Is there a cure for this or do I just have to accept one or the other? The weatherstripping itself looks fine...good as new.
And yes, I did look at the tech article...it's a little more than I want to get into.
Thanks

Try setting the t-tops so thers no wind noise and putting a small layer of vaseline on the weather striping for a better seal to keep the rain out... thas all i got

ive never done it before but there is supposed to be a couple screws under the molding that holds the locking piece for the t top i was told if you just lower them a little bit it will tighten everything up..and takes care of the problem most of the time

I can hear wind through my driver side T-Top but not on my passenger side. No rain or water gets in but its like its loose and doesnt tighten down when locked.

Yeah under the molding there are these little tabs with screws that can be moved up or down and that might give you a better fitment. I had to adjust those after I had to get a replacement t-top that didn't lock. I suggest using a bead of silicone to the areas that seem to have an air leak, even if water doesn't get through. I suggest you take a can of compressed air and run the can upside down (because you see the gas this way) through the inside of the car along the seal to notice where any of the gas gets through...in that area you might want to re-inforce it with the silicone.

DO NOT put Vaseline on your rubber! It is a petroleum product and will cause your seals to swell up and become useless.
