Wondering if I need to replace spoiler!!!

My GTA is getting a fresh crate 350 and the next stop is the paint shop. I have the aerowing spoiler and the paint and clear coat is flaking off. I was wondering if it can be simply repainted or should I shop for a new one.

Ok thanks. I just thought because it being made of rubber it would be difficult to sand and paint. But I will try.
Thanks

It's just going to crack in a few months/weeks/days/etc. If you're springing for a new paintjob, spring for a fiberglass repo spoiler from one of the sponsers above. You'll be happier in a few years when your spoiler is still in one piece and not cracked to crap.

That is...if it's the 87-90 style.
