4th gen Sunvisors

I have a pair of 4th gen sunvisors and i know that the bracket holes dont match up, my ? is if its a bad idea to drill the hole with the headliner still on i recently re-did it and dont want to have to go thru the troubel of taking it all down or risk tearing it.

Thanks

you'll tear it up, the material will get caught in the drill bit. not a good idea
