Tell me how to fix this rust hole???

Hey guys, I have driven this Camaro in the rain twice and through a car wash a few times, and each time I found a soaked driver's side carpet in the rear and front. I totally pulled apart my interior yesterday and to my suprise all the floor pans are still factory "glossy black" (my car was black from the factory)...anyway, I knew there was a leak somewhere and while inspecting the headliner I found it to be perfect EXCEPT for this freaking hole near the rear hatch!!! The water has been coming in thorugh this hole but I can' tell where its coming through from the outside...ANYWAY, how do I fix this? Drill it out and fill it with POR-15 epoxy, or what??? The car is perfect other than this spot...

Sand it down to good metal and 'glass it.

if you really weant to go the cheap route then use silicone. if its just a beater daily drivers then I wou;dn't spend to much money on alot of body work if something like silicone would do the trick. if this is about the only bad spot on the car and you plan on keeping it for a long time then you should take it to a body shop and have then fix it up correctly. my .02

The car is not a daily beater, these are the only rust spots on the body. I plan on totally restoring it to "like new" condition, so I guess I'll have to take to a shop, but I gotta find one I trust.

The best way would be to cut it out with a cutoff wheel on a die grinder and fabricate a patch panel out of sheetmetal.... weld in the sheet metal patch with a series of tack welds from a MIG. You need to do the same thing on the topside when you find were it comes through.
