My question is just that. I have an 89 GTA and it keeps blowing the fuse for the dash dimmer lights. This means at night I cant see the gauges or radio and it's a pain. The power ant is broken and the wires are hanging down inside the fender. I'm hoping that this could be the problem. I have a non-power antenna on the way and will be taking care of the loose wires. Otherwise, this seems like it could be a difficult thing to track down so I was hoping some of you who may have delt with this before(is it a common problem?) would have some likely places to start to look. I just bought it last week and it's really a nice car. I just want to take care of the few bugs it has so I can be proud of it! Thanks to you all for any advice you can offer.

p.s- Just wanted to add that when I replace the fuse everything does light up and seems normal until the fuse goes again.

The wires on my power ant once got caught in the door hinges and popped the fuse a couple of times before I discovered the problem. I'd double-check those wires. Also, you might simply disconnect the relay to the ant--pass side under the dash. You can trace the ant wiring to it through the kick panel.
