What do you think of these door panels?
I REALLY wanted to install a set of 4th gen TA door panels in my car....but I haven't heard to many good stories with the 4th gen door panels and the 3rd gen dash (Camaro). So, here is possibly another option:
They would have to be ebony or black...but I'm looking for a more "molded" style. Has anyone every installed a set of these in a Camaro?

i did it to my TA. they definately flow nicer i think. Like mentioned you need the bracket and the only PITA is drilling out all those rivets.
also note that in the picture below on the drivers side it has the hole for the manual side mirror. you may want to match that with what you have. if you have the electric motors you are going to have a hole there. not that noticable but thought id mention it.

I've been looking for a set of those for my Z. I would definatly go with the black ones, just cause that's what I want. I think they go with the interior better than the standard ones.

i had those panels in black before i decided to go with the 4th gen panels. I think i still have them laying around somewhere. They came in my 87 firebird. They look nice...but did not go very well with the 4th gen dash, console and seats i swapped out. you could always modify them and give them a different look by molding new fiberglass pieces to give them a different look. you could integrate the arm rest into the panel and make it seemless, so that the whole panel looks like one piece, instead of a removable arm rest. you could also use closed cell foam to create different shapes, such as the bowtie or flames, and give the panel a little more depth. I think it is a very cool mod, especially when they are the same color as the rest of the panel.
