Wow your Z is sweet. I really like the white/black combo. That shifter is crazy. Ive never seen one out of plane on a car. Now just rig up some missles and youll be all set. or it would be cool to use the buttons for Nitrous or something.
Looks good. I had a pic a while back of the interior of a 4th gen with white seats. The door panels even had white leather/vinyl inserts and that looked really good as well. Just curious but where'd you get the control lever for a MIG? It seems like it would be very comfortable.
Love the seats! Love the shifter!! Love the car!!
Great job! If you have any more pictures- post away. Also, I was wondering if those are the stock door panels or something else? Kinda hard to tell in the pic.
The seats are out of a 1995 Trans Am GT convertible. They are incredibly comfortable, and the one of the first mods that I have done that EVERY girl that rides in the car comments on about their awesomeness . I picked up the shifter at a saturday market type thing in Moscow, Russia this past summer. The shifter pretty much slipped over a 1" piece of conduit, and I modified the bottom of the conduit to resemble the base of my original hurst shifter. I removed the shift boot and cut the aluminum panel to fit. The rubber boot is from the Hurst short throw. I'll post more pics of the interior soon. I am still working on flame throwers and other things to hook the buttons up to.
deffinately love the seats, the shifter is something new but would look better with a frsh cout of pant, you could at least make some of the buttons functional or something, oh well i guess its different
That looks great! Do you know how rare those seats are? I have seen those very seats on Ebay go for $800.
I too have done the same thing except in my 4th Gen. Like you said, every woman who has seen the white leather seats has loved them and only a few guys did not like it.
Very nice!

i love the leather but i think the shifter would look much cleaner if it were replaced with a white ball, its your car however and it does look like ya did a great job mounting it, sometimes its good to be unique!
yeah I was thinking about re-painting it black (the shifter), but then it kinda looses the nostalgic look/ resembles a gaming joy stick. It is a little out of place on the car but I think it is fun to be a little different. It is definately a conversation starter and very comfortable. + now I can pretend that I am blowing up cars when they go to slow
freakin sweet man. i looove white leather. all my dream cars were white leather. from a purple 70 challenger with white leather, to an orange 69 camaro with white leather. just awesome.
and yes, i would love to pretend driving is a video game. that way when youre about to crash you just hit reset and watch the title screen again.
