good paint/primer brands

hey all I am curious as to what the better primers and paints are as far as quality and durability, etc, etc. Also, what is the correct combo necessary for things like the front and rear bumpers to help prevent spider lines/cracks from flexing and what not. I think it is some sort of flexible primer??
