Opinions on front gfx please
Well, I bought my third, third gen camaro the other day. It's an 83 Z28 with the lg4, 700r4 and a crappy open rear. Motor looks really clean, gaskets look new, doesn’t leak oil and it runs great. Car has 123,xxx miles.
The previous owner apparently had the front bumper cover replaced. It looks like it's from either a berlinetta or SC, but the funny thing is that it still has the Z28 gfx. I've decided I kinda like the berlinetta nose with the holes in the middle, but I don't like it matched with the 82-84 gfx that have holes in the front as well. sooo.... just for fun I taped over the lower gfx holes and sprayed it to match the rest of the front. After looking at it for an hour or so I've decided I like it and sort of makes the car unique. My question though, has anyone ever tried filling in the holes in the front gfx with fiberglass or bondo or something and had it look decent? I've thought about just getting the chin off an iroc or the 85 up gfx but I’m afraid it will look funny with the rest of 82-84 gfx. The attached picture should explain what I’m talking about, thanks.

Why not just buy a used front bumper cover for $50 - $100 and paint it?

You mean like the z28 bumper cover instead of the berlinetta? Like I said, I like the holes in the berlinetta front bumper cover, it's the gfx I don't like.
Does anyone know if they ever made a short like 82-84 style gfx without the holes?
