Rusted Floorboards
Well yesterday I decided to take out my interior, to see what it was like under there, and I was planning on re-doing the interior, along with dynamatting the whole inside. Well to my surprise, I have some pretty bad rust spots in each corner. Two on each side. The passenger side rear is not near as bad as the others.
This really sucks for me because I have wasted all my money on a new exhaust system, rims, MSE wing, and all this other good stuff, and I had no idea I had a problem this bad. And now I'm working a part-time job while going to college, and the only time I have to do anything is on the weekends. Plus yeah I've ran out of money. My dad's been a bodyman for many years and he says for now I should just use fiberglass...and eventually replace the floorboards (duh). But I don't know what the hell to do. I don't have the time to work on it too much, plus I don't want to ghetto-rig it with fiberglass. It's my only vehicle and I drive it probably 400-500miles per week going to work and school. I've considered talking to my boss(I work at a bank) to see if I can get a loan to get an LT1 car, and just park this car until I am out of school and well-off. The car needs restoring anyway, and it's been a long time plan of mine. But I don't know if that plan is going to happen.
Here's pics of the pass front, dr front, and dr rear. I need some advice, I really don't know what to do with my daily driver. And parting it out or selling it is out of the question, I've got way too much money in it, and I'm far emotionally attached

Since you have the carpet up anyway, how about breaking the floor project down into more manageable chunks?
Start with one small area-a square foot or so-and clean out the rust. If it's all the way through, grind it to bare metal and weld in a small panel to cover it, hit the clean area with Rust Encapsulator or POR 15, and put some spray primer over it. Then on to the next patch.
If you don't have the time to do the whole floor(new pans, welding, fitting, priming, painting, etc.), doing small weekend areas complete should get everything looking better in no time. Being a daily driver, you just don't want to bite off more than is possible to get done in whatever definitive amount of time you want to invest per week. Go small and often and it will get done.
Don't forget to put down some sound deadening material before the new carpet, it'll help.

the floor boards arent that bad, you can atleast save most of it, wire wheel it and por-15 or rust encapsulate it, thats what i did and i welded in some new patch panels where the holes are.

I have a speedlimit sign that my buddy had laying around covering my hole. Im waiting to fix it until i get my quarters doen and do it all at once. The whole is almost as big as the sign..... Thats a rust hole... Michigan......
