Does anyone know any tip's or how-to's on how to trim the excess material from the egdes of the fiberglass harwood hood's and getting it nice and straight??? i just wanna make sure i do this right the first time and not screw it up!

sanding block and sandpaper....try to mimic the lines of the stock hood.
sanding block and sandpaper?? that'll take forever!! there is a 1/2" lip that needs to come off i was thinking of using an angle grinder with a sanding wheel.
I measured how much of a lip the stock hood had then made a line on the new hood. Then took a cutoff wheel with the right cutting disc to get the majority of the material off.
