Re: tranforming my t/a

welcome the the TGO.

sell ur t/a and buy a formy.

just curious why would u want to change the whole car to something its not.
no trying to disrespect u, but why. i like formys, don't get me wrong but t/a's are nicer imo. hell i had an 87 formy. so i do like them. i just never heard of anyone goin from a t/a to a formy transformation.

Re: tranforming my t/a

If you search, you'd be surprised at how many people want to transform their T/A's into Formy's and even base Firebirds (maybe for sleepers?).

I think buying a Formula is the best advice so far.

Re: tranforming my t/a

You'd have to change the front fenders out for ones with no vents, also.

I'd do it too, if it was a T/A with lots of damage to those specific parts, like the bumpers, gfx and fenders. Too expensive anymore to find that stuff in good shape. After searching for a lousy vented fender for mine for so long, i'm starting to wish I had a Formula instead.

If this is true, then I am happy because I might actually be able to sell my base Firebird for a decent amount after I finish building my TA.

It creates problems down the road too when you decide to sell it. You'll have to explain to potential buyers why it looks like a Formula but says T/A on the title. Too much confusion, just my .
