Should i repair the oem metal or run with some sorta-fit parts. How bad are they?

Re: Certi-fit

Hi I bought a sorta-fit for my wife's car and if I did it again I would try to find a used one if possible in you area. They are thin and on her car the door radius was off . At the time the one I had was like yours rust holes, so I would not use it unless you had to put in the patch. (a lot of work) They are out there, I picked up two last year with miner surface rust for $20 with GM stickers!HTH.
