Glass shot out of DS rear-view mirror
Appears that a green air-soft pellet punched a hole in the top edge of my driver-side mirror-glass. (found pellet resting in bottom of mirror housing).
Dang neighborhood kids!
Can I purchase a piece of glass from an a wreck and easily fix it, or does the entire asembly have to come apart to change the glass?
Anyone know?
Thanks!

not sure about the how to change the glass, id say take yours apart and see how it comes apart, then take one out of a junkyard or ebay or somehting.
oh and find that kid and punch him in the eye.

If it's an electric mirror you should be able to change just the glass with the holder it sets in. It has a cross shaped pivot in the middle and 2 jack screws that adjust the mirror. The pivot can be a bit tough to align and snap in but the srews just push in.

you could go to auto zone, they have new mirrors for $10 with stuff to stick them on. then smash the broken mirror and scrape off the extra old glue, then stick the new one on

Thanks guys!
I just learned that "GM Sports Salvage" is real close by to where I work. Think I'll buzz by and see what they got.
I'll report what I learn later...
