Question on cleaning up 95 rear end

I picked up a rear from a 95 z28 that I am going to swap into my Firebird. It has been sitting for a while and is rusty. What is the best way to clean these up? Is there an easy way without total tear down? Any help or suggestions in appreciated.

Re: Question on cleaning up 95 rear end

Tape breather shut
Scrape/wire brush areas close to seals etc.
Pressure wash and dont spray directly on seals
scrape/wire brush some more lol
wash for last time
wipe down with lacquer thinner
prime
paint
