Big mistake on my part- letting the car be parked on a steep driveway

The chin spoiler doesn't look broke - it looks like just the paint - the car was painted without removing the spoiler, the spoiler moved/flexed, and the paint cracked. Remove the spoiler, sand the paint down, and have it resprayed (seperately) then reassemble.

On the left side of the spoiler, it appears it broke off what holds it to the body.

How do I surgically reattach that..super glue? What kind of adhesive shall I use?

By the way, is this (plastic) spoiler polyurethane? or fiberglass?

Ooops! Missed that pic! I'd ask a body shop (or a body shop materials supplier) what to use for glue. The spoiler is a plastic, not fiberglass. Looks like you might need to get something in there to clean a bit of rust I see in the pic - maybe just a rag, and a small shot of brake cleaner.

I say brake cleaner, because it totally evaporates and leaves no residue behind, plus it comes with the little tube so you can get a squirt sprayed in the crack between plastic and metal without getting any on the paint.

Might even get away with like off-the-shelf body molding adhesive - like the goop you adhere the door protector strip on the side of the car with. But ask a pro to get the best option.

Plastic eh...think I could get away with a good amount of Gorilla Glue/ Super glue?

EDIT:: nevermind. I checked out the sticky. Looks like ill invest in some 3M adhesives for plastics.

Double post.
So I'm trying to remove the front spoiler (front bumper fascia extension)

and I'm currently stuck at these plastic screw/ fasteners. How can I get them off?
I've tried prying it with a screwdriver to no avail. It's what's holding down the rest of the spoiler, cuz it broke apart.



How do I take these off?

Those I believe are just the plastic Christmas tree fasteners - use a pair of dikes, open to get underneath both sides, and pry upwards (without closing the dikes and cutting them off). If you do ruin them, no worries - any auto parts store has them in the HELP! section.

or just cut the tops off and pop them through the backside and buy new ones. they don't work very well once taken out and put back in.
