91~92 Z28 Car Cover Advice
I will be storing a 92 Z28 (hardtop w/ the wing) soon and am looking for advice on a car cover. Storage will be 99% indoors, but in the off chance it's outside for a day or so I'm looking for something that is water proof and fits the wing properly. I did a search and turns out 'car' and 'cover' are used in a lot of threads so I couldn't find anything specific.

1) Never put a car cover on a car outside.
2) A car cover indoor does no good, all it does is create a chance for moisture to be trapped even if it's "breathable". As long as nobody's messing with it and it's properly waxed/sealed, a little dust will do zero harm.
In other words, car covers really serve no purpose IMunpopularO.

California Car Cover http://www.calcarcover.com/ has all the info needed on their website, and a great product.
Personally I agree with puma on outside storage, but I have three of their "dustop" covers that I use indoors and am extremely pleased with the protection, and no damp smell inside the car.

Re: 91~92 Z28 Car Cover Advice
My Z sits in the garage 99% of the time, and recently my wife bought me a car cover for it...I'm glad she did, because it keeps the crap off of it and helps when our cat decides to jump up and take a nap on top of it occasionally...Don't know the specifics on it, but it fits great and has the elastic sewn around the bottom which keeps it snug..............
