Fog Lights
I hope this is the right spot for this thread, and yes i know this topic has been talked about for ages.
(yes i did do a search nd found some things but nothing for what i need)
OK!!!
So i was at auto zone today (***** heaven?) I found Lights that look exactly like OEM fog lights for my camaro.
They are Pilot Brand
http://www.pilotautomotive.com/Produ...roductID=27176
That is them.
Now my question is, my Camaro doesn't have the old Fog light mounting hardware. Is there any other way to install these? i know a few people have used these fog lights because OEM cost an arm and a leg.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!!

Re: Fog Lights
Inside the foglight area, on the bottom, there are 3 holes. GM used the outer two holes for the factory mount. You can use the center hole for the aftermarket lights you have.

Re: Fog Lights
those arent exactly like stock, but pretty close.. do they include a wiring kit? if not vatozone should also have a wiring kit to install them.

Re: Fog Lights
I had those on my car, took them off to go to factory lights, and now and thinking of putting them back on because the lenses look more like the clear turn signal lamps I bought.

Re: Fog Lights
yeah, I DID take mine apart, cleaned, polished, put them back together, and they will never come close to looking as good as the aftermarkets
oh, to support the OP, if he wants a picture of those lamps on the correct GM bracket, I can provide that to show him how to do it

Re: Fog Lights
I dont think he has the OEM bracket. They should come with a generic bracket you can make work.

Re: Fog Lights
if he could get a bracket set and the aftermarket lights, it would be still be a LOT cheaper than OEM lights with the OEM brackets

Re: Fog Lights
I have 1 bracket actually. i still have the old fog light wiring still hooked up right next to where they go. Not sure if the Kit that comes with the ones from autozone will work, or ill have to modify them. The auto zone kit comes with wiring kit and a switch, but ide rather it look stock.
nice clear side markers/turn signals.
Im probably going to go smoked.
And yes Pictures would be nice 58Mark if it isn't to much trouble.

Re: Fog Lights
if you still have the wiring and the switch, then its as easy as cutting the connectors off the stock wiring and wiring in the new fog lights to that. then theyll function just like stock, with the stock switch.
