it doesnt fit, its a cheap hood and ive seen people try everything to make it line up correctly

Yes my buddy had one of those hoods and couldn't get it to fit. I also would like to pick up a ram air hood. But one that does fit. Did you end up finding a better hood?

I don't know if it will fit any better than the duraflex but this is the hood i have been looking at.

A little searching here on TGO would do you wonders. You would have already read that Duraflex is not good, not have wasted your $ on one & found other suppliers/brands that people are happy with.
