My first paint job

I bought this car a few years back to make a weekend warrior out of it. I drove around long enough in primer and finally decided to paint it. I bought the summit single stage paint in candy apple red and decided to go ahead and spray it in my shop. I think it turned out decent for the amount of experiance i have in painting.

This is the day i brought it home with bass boat flake black paint on it lol

Re: My first paint job

What happened to the original nose?

Just a suggestion, paint the door handles and locks satin black. When they're body colored it just screams Maaco.

Re: My first paint job

yea i agree with the handles and it was on the to do list. I like the 82 nose better personally and every third gen I see riding around town has a busted up lower nose.

Re: My first paint job

I've just have a 40 gallon craftsman compressor, and a $100 dollar kobalt gun. Paint did not come out perfect. Alot of sanding and buffing got it to where it is now. I just got some fourth gen window sweeps and they look really good on it. i also painted the handle.
