Door Lock Caps

Hey guys, I was wondering if this part from Hawks are caps that protect our door locks. I'm looking for those plastic caps that clip on the door locks for protection. If not, does anyone know where I can purchase these from? I believe GM discontinued them awhile ago. Thanks

Here's the link to the site :

Re: Door Lock Caps

Judging from the tabs on those that you can see in the picture, those look like the actual outer metal part of the door lock. When you remove your lock cylinder and cut off the old cap, those tabs get bent over to hold the replacement cap in place.

Yea I think you are right Greg. After taking a second look I notice those little tabs like you mentioned. Thanks for the input. I remember awhile ago I saw a couple of those on EBAY. Now I cant find them.

Really? I'm curious what the part # is. Maybe I will go to my local Chevrolet dealership and ask them. I would of thought they wouldn't make something like that anymore. Thanks for the advice !
