1991 Z28 Hood

I need a new hood for my Z; the current one has a buckle in the front that won't be easily repaired. Having a hood with the Z28 blisters is important to me. My question is, can the blisters be added to any 82-92 Camaro hood to give the original Z28 look? Is the original hood recessed under the blisters?

I think the hood is recessed under the blisters.

I think so too, hoping to get confirmation without having to take my current ones off.

Re: 1991 Z28 Hood

Yes they z-28 and IROC are the same. No IROC after 90 so any IROC will be older than your 91 We just replaced our Z28 hood. We used our blisters which were not damaged. Got the hood from Hawks for around 250-300 I think. THey also have some fiberglass blisters that mount on a flat hood if for some reason tht is more economical for you. Try to salvage your hood insulation on the old one.
