IROC style hood - CF or fiberglass??

So did anyone ever find a vendor that has an IROC style hood in fiberglass/carbon fiber that will take louvers???

why dose nobody make such a thing?

Check with Rick's Camaros. He's got a selection of fiberglass hoods. I personally prefer the original steel hood.

The idea is to have a stock look but lighter. You just prefer a heavier hood?

Anyway I couldnt find one when I looked. You can find plain flat hoods, but not ones that you can put louvers/blisters on.

The answer is yes. Ask Mr. IROC he is a COTM winner and runs a CF hood with louvers.

his hood is awesome... only problem is that nobody makes them anymore... only a few of those where made.

I've been looking for a fiberglass iroc hood for some time as well. A guy on here claims someone makes them, but he doesn't want to tell me who.

The only thing I've seen come close is Harwood's Daytona hood that has the IROC recesses in the scoop.

VFN fiberglass has the Sunoco pin on version but no bolt on

They are calling that a Sunoco Hood?????

That is not even close to a Jongbloed design aka sunoco huud. Its just a rediculous "outlaw" style cowl induction that is a little bloated in the middle.
