Information on body panels?

I'm trying to start a list of body panels I can begin to start replacing. I see plenty of people around the forums with new front clips, fenders, ground fx, and doors. I was curious on where I can find these relatively cheap. I figure it won't be exactly dirt cheap, but for instance a new bumper with low profile ground fx less than $700. Anyone have a website or information?

Re: Information on body panels?

That was my first thought, but I'm kind of looking for parts that have 0 mileage on them, like fresh off the truck. I wouldn't mind going to a junk yard if it was a last resort, but I do believe there is other options. Plus I REALLY do not want another urathane bumper, mine has not done too well throughout 30 years

You could mold one from fiberglass or carbon fiber otherwise I would buy used. But hawks is a good place for new parts.

Re: Information on body panels?

Most people are going to tell you to stay away from new aftermarket body panels -- fit and finish is usually poor at best. Original used GM panels are your best bet for quality unless you can find (and also afford) NOS GM parts.
