Minor fixups- just help

Okay, my driver's window rattles when i hit bumps. And I think that may be the reason why it goes up slower (power window) than the other one. What's wrong?

My passenger t-top squeaks like mad over bumps. What can I do? This T-Top also howls when i drive with the windows up, and gets louder when the heater is on.

Rear passenger-side seatbelt (three point) has a kink in it, and the belt twists. I can't fix it. Any simple cure?

My T-Tops don't leak, but my driver's side t-top drains into my car if the window is down or the door is open. But not on the passenger side.

The plastic "weatherstripping" on the T-Top is bent in a funny way. Can I make it straight again?

I believe the Body and Interior board is more suited for these questions. Thanks.

If the window rattles, the "fuzzies" under the plastic cover are probably worn or are not making contact. You'll have to take the door panel off to check/adjust. If they are out as far as they go, then it's probably the exterior weather strip is worn and not pushing on the window enough.

T-tops sqeak. The best way to minimize is the addition of sub-frame connectors. These stiffen the car preventing chassis flex. Even with SFC's, mine still sqeaks a bit.

New belt?

There is a metal strip under the weather stripping. Try bending it up a bit.

I also have a similar problem. When it rains, and I have my window down even slightly, all the water from the t-top runs to a single point and drips into the car on my leg. It's a real PITA. Any helpful suggestions?

I hope you're not saying what I think you're saying. If so, I believe you should be banished from this board. Play nice.

I don't intend to keep this car- but I want to make it good enough (keeping it cheap or free to fix) for my tastes until I sell it.

I put it in the HISTORY/RESTORATION board because I figured it was restoration-based whatever.
