Speedo Needle

Probably been asked a thousand times before but I have just broken my speedo needle while removing my cluster to change the SES light that was dead.

The needle just came away in front of my eyes - Oh No - or worse to that effect!!

Took off the clear plastic cover and looked closer at the gauges, it looks like the needle as severed and not un-clipped (I beleive that they will un-clip?), possibly been broke and glued before by a previous owner.

The question is apart from re-gluing, what if any, is the fix?

Problem is I am over in the UK!

Any info gratefully received

I did this when I put on my white face guage overlays. I just reglued it, had my car calibrated recently, about 3 miles average under. So when doing 45 really 42.

My solution was I just bought a new gauge cluster to replace my totally broken one.

Not a damn thing really works anymore.

You notice that little white notch after zero, its not a sratch... its where your needle sits when the car is in park. Make sure you line the needle up just a few degrees of that little tiny line there.

it'd be nice if we could just replace our needles with a different style needle. personally I think our needles are kinda ugly and junky looking. yeah I busted my needle too. but not the needle, but the surrounding part.
