Doors unlatch while driving
Good afternoon!
As I'm driving around with my windows down, my doors will unlatch themselves. Not completely, just the first "latch". It doesn't happen when the window is up, so I'm assuming that's keeping some sort of tension on the doors. The striker pins are a little worn; some metal-on-metal showing, but not a noticeable decrease in thickness.
Do these latches have some sort of adjustment? Are they just worn out?
Thanks!

Re: Doors unlatch while driving
This was happening to my doors, but that they wouldn't latch completely...ever. I Brakleen'd my latches, then sprayed them with Deep Creep. I can now shut my doors with a very light push on the door handle to get them shut. Something like a new car feel. Love it. Clean them up and see if that fixes your problem. No more slamming my 60lb doors. ALso, my hinges are in very good shape, very little if no play in door slop/drop/droop.
