Which came first: the window or the weatherstripping?

I removed the windows and all of the weather stripping when I had the car painted. Now that I'm putting it all back together, I'm in a Catch-22.

To help the weather stripping (T-Tops) seal properly, the windows should be up.

In order to properly adjust the windows to the correct angles, you need to have the weather stripping in place.

I thought I might install the weatherstripping into the tracks w/o the adhesive, and use them to adjust the angle and height of the windows. Then, I could remove them and re-install with adhesive.

Good Plan?

no, the windows go in AFTER you have all the weather stripping in place.
