I've been looking EVERYWHERE for a reproduction front bumper cover for my Trans Am but nobody supplies them anymore even though it seemed like everyone was carrying them just a few years ago. Does anyone know where I can purchase one or when they will be going back into production? I know classic industries says their manufacturer is retooling theirs but has no idea how long it will take.
Thanks for the offer mantaguy but the reason I'm looking for a reproduction one is to eliminate the holes on the front bumper as I want to have a flip up/hideaway license plate setup. I love the look of the bumper without the bracket attached
If they're making a new mold for these, they should really consider adding some kind of structure to the flat sections in the center, to prevent warping. I wish GM had thought of that :/
They should repro the 91/92 bumper as well. It was hell trying to get one with no cracks/tears/rips and even then it was warped in places and still had to be totally reconditioned by a urethane bumper specialist.
