Is my master cylinder bad, or my brake booster?

Ok- here is my problem..- When i got my car i had great brake pressure.. i wish there was a bit more to the rear, but thats when i was told that third gen brakes suck ***.. Anyways- i didnt have a problem with them. I swapped my 305 to my 350 and now for some reason i dont have good brake pressure AT ALL, but im not noticing any fluid loss.. ive bled the wheel cyl's and just straight fluid poured out so i closed them back up.. -no difference..

No loss of fluid, and when i press on the pedal some pressure builds up and then it goes away..- so i have to keep pumping the pedal on my way to slow down at a light or sign or corner, or what ever.. but once im stopped and the pedal sinks to the floor it holds the car at a stop but if i press on the gas just a little the car will move...

Also- i dont have any vaccum leaks and the booster hose is securely on and no leaks around it either..

I have noticed however that if i take the resivior ( spelling) cap off and push on the pedal the front res. bubbles up, but the rear one doesn't.. Ive been told that both should bubble..

Also- is there any way to adjust the stock proportioning valve?

Thanks!!!

Time for a new master cylinder. Not sure about adjusting the stock valve though.

Brake fluid draws in moisture. When that moisture has a chance to cause corrosion in the cylinder it causes trash in the cylinder bore, and when you go to depress the pedal it can tear the seals, which causes the pistons to not move fluid correctly. It is a good idea to flush the brake fluid every other year, or on a vehicle that spends a lot of it's life in the garage, I would do it every year.
