Full Parts List and Mods for 91-92 Drum to 1LE, PBR, LT1 Swap
THIS IS FOR A REAR END SWAP TO DISC! not a drum to disc conversion. (If an admin can add rear swap in the title for me that would be great.)
I am noting all parts from Master all the way to calipers. I will note what is optional.
-Raybestos Part # MC390455 Master Cylinder (LS1 Master; Optional)
-GM Part # 10164112 91-92 1LE Z28 4 Wheel Disc Proportioning Valve
The following please note you can use factory lines that come on the axles on a 89-97 4 Wheels Disc Car, but you can not mix and match 89-92 hardlines with 93-97 flex lines and the other way around. The flares are different.
-Earls Part # 151-28A190 4 Wheels Disc Stainless Flex Lines
-Fine Lines Part # FRA8202SS Stainless Axle Hard Lines
Calipers' Please note you can use factory junkyard ,ebay, classifieds how ever you get them calipers from a 89-97. But here is part numbers or ways to obtain them new/rebuilt.
-Contact Edmiller (this is what I did was able to get loaded alum 1LEs)
-Cardone Part # 164344 (Left), 164345 (Right) (Your gonna probaly end up fighting with the parts store because sometime I got a e-brake bracket and sometimes I didn't)
E-Brake cables; Most people will tell you to get 2nd Generation but DONT. They bind the spring up and don't work.
-Napa Part # UP 94264 First Generation e-brake cable
When I ordered from napa I got two different dates of cables. Both required some modifications.
A dremel is needed to open the center of the peice that goes over your e-brake arm on the caliper. On one of them I also needed to make the unit smaller to fit through the caliper bracket itself.
Here is a pic of what happens if you use a second generation cable:
If I missing anything please let me know.

Hey, ccr, is this essentially a PBR swap to an existing disc rear end (after swapping out the drum rear)? if so, here's more info:

It mainly for people like me who had gotten a 4th gen rear and the lines where bad and I had no ebrake cables. So where to go from there. Was a big learning process.
Also just a part replacement list.
