Car: 85 camaro
E Brake

my old E Brake cable doesnt seem to wanna work anymore..
my question is do i need to rip my console out to do this repair or is it just all under the car work?

You need to figure out if it's a brake lever issue or cable. If it's cable, that's all under the car. If the brakes just won't hold the car, that's a whole different issue.
