Mine are both on the lower trailing edge from the factory. You can get a good look at both calipers from the bottom/rear of the car...

any word on if steve spphn is still going to make a complete 1le swap kit? he was talking about one at one point and i know a few of the pieces have been pushed back, but any info other than may 02 :-) would love to have 1le frts on the formire cause they bite after driving the tta :-)

Just some additonal information on the 1LE brakes:
The 1LE dual-piston caliper takes a GM bleeder screw P/N 14071826.
This cross-references to a 10mm x 1.0mm thread bleeder, with a length of 27.0 mm.
If you are looking for a better bleeder screw, the Earl's Solo-Bleed, part number 280022 looks to be the correct screw for the job.
It is available direct from Earl's Indy (1-800-331-INDY) for $9.70 per pair (plus UPS shipping), or you can get it from Summit Racing Equipment under the part number EAR-280022ERL for about the same price.

If you already have the PBR brakes in back, why wouldn't your spare fit on the front after a 1LE conversion?
