Mine are both on the lower trailing edge from the factory. You can get a good look at both calipers from the bottom/rear of the car...

Re: 1LE brake questions?Answered!

Just some additonal information on the 1LE brakes:
The 1LE dual-piston caliper takes a GM bleeder screw P/N 14071826.

This cross-references to a 10mm x 1.0mm thread bleeder, with a length of 27.0 mm.

If you are looking for a better bleeder screw, the Earl's Solo-Bleed, part number 280022 looks to be the correct screw for the job.

It is available direct from Earl's Indy (1-800-331-INDY) for $9.70 per pair (plus UPS shipping), or you can get it from Summit Racing Equipment under the part number EAR-280022ERL for about the same price.

That's the p/n that Autozone (and PartsAmerica) lists for the application: Solo bleed; 10mm x 1" x 27mm thread; metric; pair; front; rear; Pricing $18.99

GM 14071826 is the same part number for both front and rear PBR calipers.

Jst to bring this thread from the dead....

If you already have the PBR brakes in back, why wouldn't your spare fit on the front after a 1LE conversion?
