LS1 Rear swap, now lots of pedal movement
Hey all, I started out with a drum rear, and switched to LS1 disc. I followed the write up on here to the T. Everything went smoothly up until it was time to bleed the brakes.
The rear driver bled just fine (lots of fluid, no bubbles), but the rear passenger didnt bleed much at all (fluid or bubbles. fluid just dribbled out). There are no kinks in the hard lines or the soft lines that I could see
Now, while driving, the car stops REALLY good, but the pedal has lots of movement before it grabs (almost to the floor). It doesn't pull left or right when braking, and the rears lock before the fronts, but the long travel on the pedal has be concerned, because it used to have a VERY firm pedal with the drum. There are no leaks (that I can see) around the rears (softline-caliper, hardline-softline)
Any thoughts or suggestions?

From my experiences lots of travel in the pedal usually means low fluid, air in the line, or you have an issue with the hoses expanding.
Did you top off with fluid again during the bleeding process?
How's your fluid level now?
Also you might want to get an adjustable port valve for the rears. Normally you want the fronts to lockup and skid before the rears.

Re: LS1 Rear swap, now lots of pedal movement
tried to keep the fluid level high when bleeding, but it got low in the back one (dont think it emptied, but was really low. it was dark out and around midnight after starting at about noon (ran into some issues with my dif, lol) right now, the level is pretty high, right up to the rubber piece inside the master. I also got the spring to change out in the prop value, i just ran out of time to install it.
Could my master be bad? it is the original to the car. or did i let the level get too low and it accidently sucked some air in?
Also, why was nothing coming out of the rear pass side? When the pedal was pressed, I could see the soft line flex slightly, but nothing was coming out of the bleeder

If nothing is coming out of the one side at all maybe you have an issue there. Does the caliper actually grab and pistons move when pressure is applied? Check for leaks too.
