My car is the one in my signature







For sale is a 1989 Camaro RS.The car has a 305 ci. v8 with throttle body injection and a 700r4 automatic overdrive transmission. The transmission has a problem shifting at the right RPM's. I have replaced it since I bought the car last year. The transmission will either need rebuilt or replace it with a TH350 auto transmission. (old 2 wheel drive pickups had the long tail TH350 transmission thats the same length as a 700r4 so you dont need a new drive shaft. All that is needed to mount it is a special bracket that B&M makes. You can get it through Summit Racing)

The car's body is in decent shape. The car is white in color and it has a grey interior. The hood, bumper, and passenger fender have been replaced and are black. I do have the front ground effects but just havent put them on.
I own the car outright and the car WILL come with a clear title. The car comes with many extra parts. Too many for me to even remember them all. I have acquired these since I bought the car over a year ago.
Included are 2 complete rear trunk plastic sets in good shape. One is for a car with a lap belt in the back and the other is for this car with an over the shoulder seatbelt in the back. I also have an extra dash pad with 1 or 2 defects, an extra dashboard in its entirety, an extra gray carpeted console (with a console lid in good shape, hard to find)
Extra seat set from an 86Z, extra rear seat bottom that matches the seats in the car, extra rear view mirror with no scratches or black spots, extra deluxe light up rear view mirror from a transam, extra deluxe dome light with map light from a transam, 3 lights that go in the trunk to light the bay up, 2 extra sets of door panels. One is from an 86Z, the other is the harder to find grey vinyl door panel set in good shape, 1 or 2 extra sets of door arm rests. 1 of which is in really good shape. Extra seat belts, extra front grille for a non-foglight car, extra front license plate bracket,

Will also include a 600cfm Edelbrock carburetor with electronic choke that I was rebuilding. Have the rebuild kit for it.
Also included is a Mallory fuel pressure regulator. This is needed if you want to swap to carburetor and keep the electric fuel pump since a stock fuel pump for the car pumps at 40psi, much too high for a carburetor. This part is at least $75 new.
Also included with the car is a Delco equalizer cassette deck. These were a step below the Bose decks and CD player decks offered at the time. I have modified the radio so there is an audio input jack on the front. You can plug your portable CD player, iPod, Zune, etc in. It cuts the signal from the tuner to the amplifier and plays whatever you want instead. AM/FM/Cassette are still useable though. Radios like this sell for easily $100 or more on eBay. Its wired the same as the guys on eBay do only I did it myself. Its something I do for a little extra cash every now and then.
You can bet this is the best of the best condition of all the radios I wired up and I kept it for myself.
The sound quality benefits of CD or an MP3 player yet like any ordinary stock radio, nobody will break in to steal it!

I will throw in extra, a B&M Megashifter designed only for 82-92 Camaros and Transams. Fits in the console and the cover plate looks a lot like a stock shifter plate. This is a ratcheting shifter and costs $200+ new

Car has I-Roc Z wheels. They need a little bit of buffing but are worth a couple hundred dollars
I have extra lock switches and also have 2 brand new AC Delco brand lock button covers new in the bags. Too many parts to list

Serpentine belt broke a couple months ago right before I moved to my own house so its been sitting at the parent's

I paid $750 for the car last October and have paid several hundred dollars for the extra parts plus put in wrench time and fixed a lot of other problems like having to get 5 broken grade 5 bolts out of the block and head and finding hard to find parts like power steering/alternator brackets. The serpentine system now lines up well but the belt was worn and so it broke. The battery was replaced with a premium battery from Napa about a year ago.

All I want is $750 for the car and I am very firm on the price
Either the $750, or I will trade the car for:
A 100 or more glaoon propane tank and working propane furnace plus either $100 cash, a good brand name working gas chainsaw, good brand name working gas leafblower or Sawzall.
Any other trades, I am not interested. It is starting to get very cold and I need these pars above. I need to get rid of this car even though Id like to keep it but I have no idea how much longer I will have my job what with the economy and all

For an extra $150 on top of the price of the car, I have a 350 engine from a 79 Scottsdale K10 shortbed. It was running when removed from the truck. It has heads on it from 73. Looks like the original ones got warped and were replaced.
Has a GM steel intake as well as a Quadrajet carburetor and a Delco distributor
I suggest you at least hone the cylinders and put new rings in. I cant tell you if its a 2 bolt or 4 bolt main because I never tore it down all the way. I just have the intake and heads off.
If you want the engine only, I want $250 cash. The $150 for the engine is an incentive if you want the car and engine as well.


Bring a trailer and empty truck bed as there is a lot of stuff. Would make a nice fun car with some more parts and wrench time.
