Its a possibility that it is actually 62,000 and not 162,000. Seeing as the earliest record i have of it reading in the 50 thousands was back in 1998, so it is quite possible that its only got 62,000 miles on it, but not gauranteed. Computer obviously needed to be tuned due to the extensive modification, i've tuned this car by myself with a wideband o2 controller on my laptop, with alot of help from the DIY board on thirdgen.org, it is fully tuned and ready to drive. averages around 18mpg in the city and 27mpg on the highway. Car is currently on a california non-operational status, with no back tags due. I know there is alot of stuff i am forgetting that i have not included, this car is about 95% complete from being perfect condition, just some small stuff needs to be done. I have all the receipts for everything that was done to this car since 1998 including how much was paid for all aftermarket parts. i have a 3" thick folder with all paper work and specs on the engine. The Bad: Salvage title - It was in an accident back in 1999 where it was hit in the left front corner, i have all the paperwork on it from the accident, it was tooken to a frame shop and there was no frame damage, the left front fender had to be replaced, along with some other stuff in the area, it was at this time where the whole car had been repainted including the jams and underhood, and still looks good till this day, cannot even tell it was in an accident. Insurance pay off partially funded this car to make it what it is today. needs stereo head unit A/C works but needs to be recharged Center console lid has rip in it Dashpad has crack Hood Shocks need replacing Engine bay is dirty, needs cleaning I know you never get back out what you put into a car, so I've already broke down what i could part this car out for, it comes in around $5,000 dollars, thats only for the aftermarket stuff (engine,trans,suspension). still have all the interior and body parts that i could sell. i would rather sell this car to someone who actually wants this car how it is rather than spend twice as much not including labor doing it themself. Im asking $7,000. Possible trade is a C5 corvette obviously with some cash coming from me also, must be a manual though.

See, there you go. I bet he actually has more than $15 in it and about the same in labor costs; IF he had needed to farm out the custom stuff to someone with the skills, tools, and needed understanding for all the non-stock upgrades. Plus, that dosn't include what he paid for the car to start with.

No one interested in this? am i asking too much? only one reply on the ad too. i sold my bone stock '89 Iroc 305/5speed just as clean as this for $5,000, and this car has around $15,000 invested in it. guess i just have to wait for the right buyer. car is located in Bakersfield, California.

Be patient. In this economy people just aren't as willing to spend money on toys. And you're probably going to miss out on anyone that is outside of a 500 mile radius of you. I'm looking for a car now but I'm not coming out your way just for a Camaro.
