92 1LE, 32k miles, 5sp, amazing car!!! NJ

I never thought I’d be doing this but I’m contemplating selling my 1LE. I’ve only had it for a few months and had tons of plans for it but I’m getting a house so I need money. I put my Mustang up too but I don’t know if I can bring myself to part with it. So I decided whichever sells first sells. 2 cars enter…1 car leaves! Anyway, here are the details. I’m asking $8500 firm for the car. If I can't get that for some reason it's not selling. For that it comes with every single part listed. Many aren’t even installed yet. I bought about $2300+ worth of parts for it since I got it a few months back. Car’s located in Edison, NJ. It’s still my daily so mileage may go up a little.

92 Z28 1LE with all the 1LE goodies, this one came factory with an am/fm radio but it’s got a USB compatible cd player now…thank god! Car has 32k original miles, 305 TPI, 5sp, 9 bolt, everything’s in great shape, body’s dead straight, paint’s great, ZERO rust, car had been garaged before I got it, I sprayed the undercarriage last week with undercoating because it’s my daily so I planned on using it all year. Car has some unusual options, and the popular theory is that it was owned by a dealer the first few years and campaigned in SCCA races. It has a 4pt cage, subframe connectors, multiple strut braces, and a few other odds & ends. Car has “LECA” engraved on the cage and 1 spoke of each wheel. Still trying to figure out wtf it is. My guess is the original dealer. There’s no paperwork to back this up though, so take it for whatever it’s worth. I’m not trying to BS anybody. I know the guy who bought it in 95 and he said he bought it from a dealer with 5k miles on it, WITH all these mods. He added the CD player & shifter, that’s it. I can put the next owner in touch with him, he said he still has the original am/fm & shifter whenever he finds it.

Mods: (all reversible, but I wouldn’t)
-SLP Tri-Y headers
-Matching catted Y
-SLP cat-back dual out one side
-Air foil
-subframes
-strut bars

Mods/things I’ve done, receipts included for ALL of it:
-dual K&N’s
-8 new Accel injectors (1 was bad, I didn’t want to F’ around)
-BBK adjustable FPR
-new intake gaskets
-new distributor/module
-new coil
-MSD plugs/wires/cap/rotor
-new pcv
-new fuel filter
-M1 synthetic 10W 30
-Redline ATF
-Redline shock proof gear oil
-new ignition switch w/key (vats acted up & I didn’t want to bypass)

Also included: brand new with all receipts
-Ram Powergrip Clutch
-GMPP lightweight flywheel
-Ram pilot bushing
-Autometer triple a-pillar pod
-3 Autometer ultra-lites
-spare Redline ATF/gear oil (leftover)
-lower intake gaskets (came with the kit)
-wet shot 100hp NOS setup, lines/plate/bottle (used)
-spare gauge bezel surround
-spare stock a-pillars
-ceramic brake pads for front & rear

Car doesn’t really need a damn thing. Only thing I’d do is get a gauge and adjust the FPR properly. It runs a little rich I think. I didn’t have a gauge when I installed that and the injectors so I just got it running and never messed around with it. Otherwise it’s good to go. It’s reliable as hell and fast for a 305. Just looking for cash, no trades. I don’t want to do it but want and need are 2 different things. Also, not selling ANY of the parts separate from the car. If the car sells, you get what you see. If not I keep everything and install all of it. My e-mail is venomsvtcobra@aol.com and my cell is 848-250-3006.

No interest? Come on people, a 32k mile third gen?! A 1LE 25th anniversary no less?! This is a car that will NEVER go down in value. Take it to cruise nights and keep it garaged...mark my words one day it'll be worth a nice chunk of change!

I have a way to get the build sheet too. I planned on doing to to find the original dealer that ordered the car. I wanted to find out about the car's racing history, since it's fairly blatant. I may still do so, because even if I sell it I want to know what I had.

Re: 92 1LE, 32k miles, 5sp, amazing car!!! NJ

A 9 bolt rear stock on a 1992? I don't recall ever having seen that before, even on a 1LE. I thought it was always a 10 bolt regardless of the RPO; only the gear ratio changed.

Edit: Did some research and taught myself something. Always thought that G80 simply implied a posi-rear and was a 10 bolt, guess I was wrong

Re: 92 1LE, 32k miles, 5sp, amazing car!!! NJ

Why doesnt the car have the rear high rise wing? Thought all '92 Z28's had it.

Interesting possibility on the LECA engravings; a brake pad manufacturer (Leca Brake Products Co, LTD ( Shangai, China). That would kind of suck actually. But if it was a dealer autocross car, maybe that was a sponsor.
