1989 IROC-Z Camaro 5.7 $3,750.00

1989 IROC-Z Camaro, real factory 5.7 350 V-8 (not 305), factory TPI (Tuned Port Injection), automatic, T-Tops, approx. 164,195 miles, factory 4-wheel disc brakes, bright red with very dark gray interior. Paint is very faded, but body is very straight and doors open and close good. Car has rare factory BOSE stereo (works but sound not very loud, probably needs new factory BOSE amp). Car has used real GM Corvette C-6 wheels (not aftermarket replicas), polished aluminum, 18” front, 19” rear, good tires, look and drive great, right two wheels very slightly out of round on the backside, can be seen when wheel spinning on balance machine, but wheels balance and drive fine as far as I can tell. Car also still has original 16” factory IROC-Z wheels and tires that go with it. I bought this car as a project. It had sat for several years not running at the time. I put a new fuel tank, new fuel pump, new pump assembly with fuel level float, and new fuel filter in it and got it running. Replacement fuel tank drips a little bit where filler neck meets tank if you fill it up completely full (so I only fill it up about 3/4 full and it seems to do fine). I have been fixing it up as time permits: new AC Delco plugs, new MSD ignition coil, new ignition control module under distributor cap, used (not cracked) dash pad, new air conditioner blower motor, new battery, etc. Car still has all of its original emissions and air conditioning system (heat and vent work, but not AC). The only real changes from factory are previous owner put woodgrain steering wheel, different fog lights, and performance computer chip in it. Car still has original steering wheel, fog lights, and computer chip that go with it. Car has two sets of T-Tops. First set of T-Tops is in good condition. Second set of T-Tops is damaged but usable. I have already swapped the locks over to the good set of T-Tops so they work with the same key as the door and rear hatch locks. Interior is in good shape, except for usual tear on driver’s side seat and it needs a headliner. T-Tops do leak some. Car runs and drives good. I drive it to work sometimes on nice days. But, obviously it still needs more TLC from where it sat up for so long. $3,750.00 cash. No Trades. Oak Ridge, TN (just North of Knoxville, TN)

A really nice car at a really nice price. If I had infinite garage space I could keep mine and just start collecting 350 IROC's. I love these things.

Thanks Brett 68! This is my 7th 3rd gen, and you're right, 350 IROCs are definitely awesome!

Anyway, I guess it's time for a little price adjustment to say $3,650.00.
