I'm interested. You do have to post a ton more pics though if you want to sell it. Gotta see the interior, engine bay, etc

Maybe some don't realize what a "feeler" post is... The whole point of this post was to gauge interest in the possible sale of the car.
If there's enough interest, I'll take more pics or take the time to post up what few interior pics I have.

"Feeler" posts always irk me. Either you're selling or you're not. Any car reasonably priced according to it's condition and options will generate "Interest" and a SALE if the price is right. As my buddy says, "there's an *** for every seat." Anyhow, here's a free bump for the not for sale "feeler" car....

I put up the information to gauge interest in the car and those results were to help me decide what to finish and what not to finish on the car before it actually went up for sale.
The good Lord knows that if I knew this post was going to cause this much drama, I would have never put it up.
After the BS I've encountered with this post, I simply removed the car from being for sale.
To this day, I've never had this much crap when posting up a car to gauge interest in it nor have I had anyone tell me what I "have to do" in order to sell the car.
From what I've encountered, it will be much better for me to simply finish the car to a point that I feel comfortable and then offer it up for sale locally as to not deal with any of the internet drama.

Well, you said you wanted input, etc.. and you got some, right? Black or white no, but if the car is for sale and in your mind at a point that it's ready...sell it. If not, get it to that point and then let her rip! (You didn't really write your post as a "What can I do to make my car more sellable?" Post. Had you put it that way you would have probably gotten a lot of various suggestions. I have an 86 Iroc I will likely sell in the future , but I will not offer it until I am confident that all the stuff I am aware of that is wrong has been addressed. Till then I will enjoy it, and if the little bit of grief you've gotten here scares you away, you obviously havent sold many cars! Wait till some buyer shows up and nit picks every little imperfection in your car, THAT Then will really put you over the edge. I'd say everything discussed here has been pretty darn mild and if you're going to sell a third gen, this is probably the place to do it. Most people here know the ins and outs and what to look for and most importantly a fair price. Don't run off just cause we picked on you a little! Good luck.

Trust me, I've sold plenty of cars, more than I'd like to remember and I know all too well about dealing with people nit picking things, thats why I said there were things that I was going to finish fixing before it actually went up for sale. I figure the less small things someone has to nit pick, then the smoother the sale will be. It also shows that I, as the seller, am concerned about the condition of the car and am willing to go the extra mile to fix all the little things that most people complain about.
To be 100% honest, I just don't have the patience to deal with folks on the internet that try to tell me how to do things when I've been doing them just fine for nearly 20 years. Nothing personal to you, it was actually someone else that pissed in my cheerios, lol.
Like I said, I'll pull the car from the market and then offer it up for sale sometime in the near future.
Whether it will be for sale on this site remains to be seen. I have plenty of local forum members that are foaming at the mouth to be able to buy it, they just don't have the cash burning a hole in their pocket.
