92 RS Built LT1 T56 project
Ok, I never thought that the day would come where I was going to have to sell my
car. I am probably going to leave out a bunch of things about the car, but I will
try my best to get it all out. The car is a 1992 Camaro RS, quasar blue metallic.
It currently has a 4th gen rear out of a 98 Trans am with 4:10's. I have not
attached e-brake cables or anything, and it is missing the entire rear brakes
except the rotors. Rotors are brand new.
I replaced the fuel pump and did the rear fuel tank access door very nicely with a
door that has hinges and opens and locks closed.
Currently the k-member is out of the car because I was going to go tubular but can
put it back in before selling it. The front bumper and also the fenders are also
off because I was in process of getting the engine bay painted. The engine bay
still needs to be painted currently.
There is no engine in the car or transmission. The engine is BRAND new and was
built by a local machine shop called G.C.R.E. The transmission was pulled from a
94 Formula with 64,000 miles on it. The engine has been kept inside my living room
on an engine stand since I picked it up from the machine shop back in February
2010.
The engine is as follows:
355 ci LT1
Stock heads, 5 angle valve job
Delphi 42 lb/hr Injectors
ARP Rod Bolts
ARP Main Studs
Meziere Electric Water Pump
Lloyd Elliot Stage 2 Cam 226/234 .565/.565 109 LSA
GM LS7 Lifters
Comp Cams Valve Springs
Stainless Valves
Melling High Volume Oil Pump
SRP Forged Pistons
Eagle H-beam 6.0 Rods
Comp Cams Ultra Pro Magnum 1.6 Rocker Arms
BBK 52mm Throttle Body
Intake Ported To 58mm
Stroker Clearenced
Fully Balanced
I also have a set of 17x11 and 17x9.5 chrome ZR1s that will go with the car as well
as the 17x9 chrome irocs that I originally had on the car. The irocs need to be
cleaned. The ZR1s are basically brand new and only saw 2 weeks on them. The tires
need changing on the rear of the ZR1's.
The interior has 4th gen ebony leather camaro seats, a 4th gen ebony center
console, and also a 4th gen ebony dash. The dash harness has been re-worked and
works perfectly with the 4th gen dash. Currently I have the dash out because I was
going to go with a trans am dash but have now lost interest in this project. The
dash cap has been cut and fits perfectly with the 4th gen dash in the 3rd gen.
There is also a 4th gen camaro steering wheel with airbag out of a 2001 camaro SS.
This car is basically rust free except for the battery tray which is not even bad
at all. I purchased the car with 52,000 miles when I was 16. I drove the car till
I hit 71,000 miles on the odometer and immediately parked it to start this build. I am now 21 and the car has basically been sitting for 3 years. I have the original dash as well for anyone who is interested in it. I am to the point where this car is stressing me out so much I just want to give up. I am hoping to sell this and get a fair amount out of it to go put a down payment on a car that is driveable.
I have been told my engine setup should make somewhere around 400 whp with the LT1/T56.
As I said, this is something that I never throught I was going to have to do, and being that I have to post an asking price, ill start high. $8,000.

How about you post links to previous threads or pictures. IF you want to sell a car, don't expect people to do research just to find out what exactly you are trying to sell.
Thanks
