1988 med grey IROC-Z lb9 t5 90k original miles PRICE DROP
Hey guys I'm entertaining the idea of selling this car. The sale would help me finish my 2000 Camaro lsx turbo build. On to the car it's a 1988 IROC-Z lb9 t5 t-top, bose stereo, factory aluminum driveshaft, leather interior ect car has 90k original miles with a clean title no accidents or rust, car originally came equipped with aluminum rear drums I converted to the pbr rear discs off a 96 z28 I also installed Edelbrock tes headers, flowmaster cat back, I shortened shifter 2in, 5.7 Iroc 145 speedo cluster, new tps, new maf, fresh tuneup (plugs, wires, cap/rotor) new tires, front brakes and calibers, new rear pads, new walboro 255lph pump and relay ect. The car drives smooth, straight and is very tight. The transmission shifts smooth, oil pressure is good, Trans and rear are tight and quiet.

Nice color made better with a stick.
I always wondered, when someone says "gauging interest" are the actually serious about selling or not?

I would love to own this car. Take it from me I sold a 91 camaro 12 years ago and said nearly the same ".....don't know if I can actually go through with the sale, cash talks I guess". Someone showed up with the cash and I sold it. For 12 years now I have been trying to find that car to get it back. If your not dead set on selling then keep it the regret wont be worth the $7500 you might get out of it.

Love that color on the IROC-Z. Like others have said, it will be a while before you see another one like it. If I had the money, I'd certainly be interested in buying it.

Don't do it John.... you know my two previous thirdgens. The T/A I don't regret much because it was built. The '91 Z was optioned well and in great shape, relatively low miles, and I missed the hell out of that car until I just got my current one that isn't going any where.

You will regret selling this car. Ive been looking forever for a 88 grey IROC LB9 T5 with leather interior. You will never find another like it, unless you have the best luck ever. If i wasn't moving this month i'd seriously take this car off your hands.

I have two 944's in excellent shape, I would be willing to trade either. Both non-turbo one automatic and one manual. Turbo isn't the way to go they burnout and the repairs are quite pricy.

Man that is an amazing car. I am a freshman in high school and have been doing a mild rebuild on my first car, a stock 1985 Iroc. It is the factory black and is dire need of a paint job. Your car is the reason I am painting mine the stock gunmetal gray color from 1988. That color is so awesome.

Re: 1988 med grey IROC-Z lb9 t5 90k original miles Guaging interest
Damn this is a nice car. I am still searching for my 86 iroc i sold about 7 months ago. Didn't findout till after I sold it that it was one of only 74 made with the options mine had. 50 of those cars ended up being test cars. So technically mine was 1 of 24 on the road. I'll pay double what I sold it for to get it back. Was all original except for new paint job(w/factory color).

Re: 1988 med grey IROC-Z lb9 t5 90k original miles Guaging interest
You should reconsider one last time. If you love the third gens you should keep that car. You will be hard pressed to find another in that good of shape without paying for it. Mine has been in the garage since '98 and my interior doesn't look that good and its a '92. If you don't love the third gens then maybe you should sell- just find her a good home. Good luck in what ever you do and if I had the cash would take her myself.
