Engine: Procharged 406.
Transmission: T-56
Axle/Gears: Moser 9" 4.11 Gears
1992 Z28 Camaro Rolling Chassis
Own a piece of Magazine History!!
An unfortunate death in my family has forced me to sell my 1992 25th Anniversary Z28 Camaro which has been featured in the Pages of Super Chevy Magazine (August 2001) and Camaro Performers Magazine (Winter 2001). After the magazine features I decided to tare the car down and add a new drivetrain (engine, transmission, rearend, & fuel system) and over the years the car was put on the back burner and not a main focus. Price is $5500.
This add will be for the rolling chassis.
NOTE: There will be NO Engine, Transmission or Driveshaft with this car.
The rolling chassis will consist of the following items:
1992 Z28 Camaro body with custom black and blue paint scheme.
Harwood Fiberglass Cowl Hood
Brand new Black Carpet Kit for front and rear halves of the car. (New)
Complete custom Black and Grey Tweed Interior.
10 pt Chrome Moly Roll Cage by Phil Mandella at PMR Race Cars (Rancho Cucamonga) (New)
Brand New Auto Meter Phantom II Gauge Set. (New)
Full Aeromotive Fuel System With A1000 Pump, Pre & Post filters, Pump Controller, Boost Sensitive Regulator, -12 lines and Sumped Tank. (New)
Baer Brakes 13” Front and 12” rear. (New)
Tokico 5 way adjustable Shocks & Struts (New)
Suspension Techniques Lowering Springs & Sway bars.
Boyd Coddington “Rodder” Billet Wheels 18 x 8.5 Front. 18 x 9.5 Rear.
Sumitomo Tires 235/40/18 Front. 265/35/18 Rear.
Moser 9" Rearend with 4.11 Gears, Detroit Locker and 35 spline Axles. (New)
This will be a local pickup or buyer is responsible for shipping.
Serious Inquiries only please.

Re: 1992 Z28 Camaro Rolling Chassis
Sorry to hear about your family.
I have that Super Chevy Magazine. That car inspired me to buy my car and start the project. Does the car have the full interior in it? Or is it as shown in the cardomain pictures?
Funny thing also, just got a job in Azusa and will be moving within a month or two and I will need a daily driver. Do you think this would get through smog checks with a carb'ed 305ci and a cat? I have those from my current project so maybe I could just drop them in and go?

As far as passing smog I think it needs to be a 1992 or newer engine to pass smog. You will need to provide engine, transmission and smog approved exhaust if you're looking for a smog approved daily driving vehicle. The car will come with a 3" dual exhaust with high flow cats and Flowmaster Outlaw series mufflers. Not Smog **** approved.
The car was put together to be a weekend track car or a pro touring car that didn't really care about smog laws. It would be better served to go to a person living outside the state of California where smog laws are not so strict. If your serious about potentially buying it PM me and we'll schedule a time to look at it.

I have the full interior as seen in the feature. It's not currently in the car but it will come with the car and need to be installed. The corbeau seats on Cardomain will not be part of the package, however I'm willing to part with them for an additional cost. You will get the factory seats that were wrapped in the black & grey tweed that was in the car during the feature.
