Re: 1984 z28 L69 5-speed
Man, I feel your pain. I agree, these cars just aren't what I thought they were worth. It seems like unless it's a low mileage Iroc, they aren't worth anything. I think your car looks nice and well worth the price. But I thought the same thing about mine, so what do I know? Good luck!

Well after 10 months a lot of input from the group, some good, some I didn't agree with I have finally gave away(SOLD) the z28
You guys missed a great car,Im glad its behind me and I can move on to something else. There is some good people that gave great advice, and some that was totally unrealistic. With some of the questions, you would think I was selling a 30k car.I mean it was a mechanical and cosmetic resto to get a great car back on the road and let someone else enjoy it for a reasonable price.

dont think the orignal motor means much to most buyers.
Its a clean driver with a new engine...Id take that over some wore out one that was #match (BFD these arent 63 swc)
Most buyer dont care about 1 of xx just overall condition.
Youll find someone who sees the value of the work done and will snap it up that actually has the money. Be patient.

Looks like the guy who bought it is just trying to flip it. Same car popped up on Facebook market place: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...9641390815640/
Figured it was worth sharing.

I know the PO didn't have it titled since 86.
The listing glosses past the replaced engine and new paint. Sounds like he is making it out to be a survivor.

The Ad Mentions It Has An 85 Hood, But Nothing About The Engine Being Replaced.
