Never owned a camaro in years and am now in the middle of acquiring one now.
it is an 84 camaro.
I used to own one when I was 18 the same year too.
I never had a license, plates that were on there belonged to another car, not registered, obviously not insured, and when I saw cops I ran.
this new one I am getting willl be my baby. I still haven't finished paying for it but I am still wondering where will she be stored for winter. since owner I am buying it from has been storing it for years.
Antigonish, NS here. "Take the Trans-Canada, turn at the lights."
Don't have a third-gen car yet, but I learned to drive standard in a friend's ~'85 TA - few years later, I have money and remember it fondly - so I'm looking for one.
Where are you from in New Brunswick,I an in Moncton.ou ever come down to the Atlantic Nationals in July.
I am just outside of Woodstock. Never been to the Atlantic Nationals, seems liek there is soemthing else going on at the same time. Hoping to go next year at least to look around. Usually make it to the one in the spring.

Skip the spring one it is not near as good as the Atlantic Nats,it only has around 250-300 cars, the one in July had almost 1600 cars WOW,and it only cost $5 to get in,has cars from all over, seen a truck that drove from Texas a few years ago, they also have a special guest every year this year it was Cortney Hanson from Powerblock TV.

I am from Porters Lake (Dartmouth), Nova Scotia. I've owed a few F-Body's over the years but never found the right 3rd gen that I wanted to keep. Well, I picked up a 1989 Pontiac Firebird, 2.8, Auto with T-Tops and a solid body except for a few spots on the floor and inner rear fender wells.
I've already gutted the rear half of the car, its getting welded and a full coating of por-15 next weekend, as is the floor after the new pan sections go in.
The following weekend is the beginning of my 350/TH350 swap.
Then its cleanup, reinstallation, new seats or covers and off to the cruises.
The car needs some TLC, but its more solid then any I've found in NS before at the price of $1200!!
I need a new camshaft, lifters, push rods, gaskets, etc.
She ate the cam in July on the tc.
Oh-well, now I have an excuse to upgrade to ceramic headers, flow master exhaust, center force clutch and fix the speedometer cause that stuff might have been damaged when the cam went...at least that's what I am gonna tell "the boss"...
