Picked my engine up from R&D on Friday.
New roller cam shaft & roller lifters, new crank / balanced (old one had a few marks and was turned 40 thou already), 3 angle valve job, porting, new valve guides, push rods, double roller timing gears and chain, some fine tuning on the carb and distributor and all the necessary parts that go with it..
Dynoed at 387 horse and 412 foot pounds of torque!
Dan said they tested a Demon carb on it and the hp jumped to 402, torque to 428 or so.
Miramichi NB here as well. Thus my handle. I purchased a white 1986 Iroc 305 tpi last summer and am in the process if giving it some tlc , starting with a new fuel pump. She runs real nice and I love it only the second real muscle car that I have owned the other was an 81 Firebird.
I sold my 86 Trans Am and bought a 86 monte Carlo. Motor Dyno'd at 815HP with 1 7/8" headers, ill be running 2" Hooker Super Comps so ill be running closer to 850HP.
454 2 bolt block, 4.250" eagle crank stroke, 6.385 eagle forged rods, srp forged flat top pistons, crane blower 244/256 .632 hyd roller cam, patriot 320cc aluminum heads, 1.7 harland sharp rockers, weiand 871blower, 2 x 800cfm barry grant might demon blower carbs.

Well my ROC is back on the road after 2 years on jack stands..
Still working out a few bugs and I need to get back to R & D and get Dan to fine tune the engine but she sounds wicked and pulls like a freight train...
this goes for 5speed and EVERYONE!!
I have a 2003 S10 custom Sport truck S10,,its lowered, and has all the bells all the aftermarket stuff on it. Its a low miles states truck with a nice paint job and inspected here in PEI. Im wanting to trade for a nice 85 and up TA or a nice Irocz! let your friends in the area know.
Does anyone know of any car shows coming up this year in Cape Breton or in the Maritimes? My car should be almost ready by the spring!

Gooday! I have just purchased a '92 Z28 vert from Ontario and am waiting for it to be delivered. I sold my last '92 Z28 3 years ago but did take it to the Atlantic Nationals in Moncton. My wife and I had a blast! Great show that gets better every year. I recomend going if you get a chance. Never that many 3rd gens though.
moncton here, i have a 1987 trans-am, hoping to put a 350 in before summer, it would be nice to meet other drivers and maybe meet and show our cars off other then a car show.
