JL sub ?
ok here goes, i was going to get 2 cerwin vega vega series 12's but found out it wouldnt work, so now i am thinking 3 JL 12W0's would it be best to get 3 4 ohm ones, or 2 4 ohm ones, and one 8 ohm one, then wire the two 4OHM ones in series, ans wire that with the 8OHM in parallel to the amp, giving me a total of 4OHM, (I think, if anybody can confirm this, that would be great!)
or should i just get three 4OHM and wire em all parallel?
which would be the most efficient?

It all depends on the load your amp is willing to handle. What amp do you plan on using? Might I suggest you get something higher then W0, like maybe a W1 or W4.

i plan on using either a jl500/1 or the kicker ZR360, the reason i am going with W0's i can get three of them for the price of one W3, i can get all three for $200

you should never use different ohm speakers on the same amp, get all 3 in a 12ohm model, then the amp will see 4ohms, or get 3 8ohm subs and the amp will see 2.7ohms
and dont buy W1 subs, they are not better than W0s, they are just shallow mounting subs, they even cost the same
