Hifonics

I was thinking of getting a hifonics brutus square subwoofer and wanted to know if anyone had used them.

get kicker l5's or l7's instead man you will be alot more happy

hifonic's is not that good for subs as far as i heard there amps are so so amps in the way that they come dead some times =) i got one and it works fine tho

dont get either of those please.. the l5'7 and l7's are garbage.. not garbage but they arent built the best and they are more SPL woofers if anything. i actually heard the brutus woofers werent to bad.. maybe not for spl or something but the kickers arent the best

the hifonics stuff isn't bad, I have run a few experiments and get the same results as the kickers (swap them into the same box, and check spl and measure the frequencies and what not)

more SPL oriented no? imo i find it stupid to run SPL subs as a daily setup, if you want loud go with more of an SQL setup so you have a little of both worlds, my opinion though other might have different

when tuning subs you check all parameter (if you notice I also checked frequencies) I have done both in competition, and I have used the same subs in both setups (changed boxes, but used same driver)
