setting clock on Pioneer
Hey guys, i've got a DEH-2900 deck here.
After err, "deep cycling" (leaving lights on) my battery a few times, I still need to reset my clock.
I swear, the instructions in the manual are WRONG. They say to press function until "clock" comes up, then adjust. I go through the function menu : pause, balance, fade, random, repeat..... Notice there was no "clock" in that list? Yea, so i'm a little confused.
I googled it and it said to make sure the deck is off, hit clock so it lights up the display with the clock, *then* use function to set it - also, didn't work.
I imagine most/all Pioneer decks are quite similar in the last few years. I also would guess that Pioneer is popular enough that *someone* on here has one. Who remembers how to set their clock?
Thanks

Re: setting clock on Pioneer
Hahahah, I have had 4 pioneers and all 4 have had different clock settings. My current one goes as this... look for the audio button,(my model has it in the far north east postion of the face) press and hold while the headunit is off but still has power. time shows and you can change it buy the directional buttons. Hope this helps.
Cheers!!!

Lots of Pioneers you have to power off with the key in the on. Then press funuction button tell a menus comes up. The menu has options like peep on/off and clock.

Re: setting clock on Pioneer
Tried those, no dice.
With the car running, i'll hold the **** for a few seconds to power it off. Clock button is the top left button. Whether the clock is displayed or not, no difference.
I've held function, or audio, for 2-3 seconds, nothing happens.
These are the two silver buttons on the left.
Here's a pic of my deck;

Any other ideas?
If nobody can think of anything i'll just drive up to best buy and park in front of their shop doors and ask them to help me out.
